My name is Luke Williams and I’m from Saline County, Arkansas, USA. EM34rq, just southwest of Little Rock.

I was first licensed in 1992 as KB5UPC along with my grandfather (KB5TTX, now SK), dad (KB5UPD), and uncle (KB5SQR) after my great-uncle (N5MUM, also SK) sparked the interest in me.

In 2007, I upgraded from Technician to Amateur Extra. (Spent one week as a General.) I enjoy learning about most all facets of our hobby. If I haven’t tried it, I’d probably like to learn about it. Specific things I’m active in right now include repeater building/maintenance, portable operation on HF/VHF/UHF, satellites, APRS, and microcontrollers.
